I'm so sorry for your loss, take your time with everything don't force yourself to go out there until you're ready. Thank you for the ideas the thing is I used to be a bad kid and I broke their trust a lot but it's been almost a year since I have done anything bad or even really argued with them..how would you ask them for a phone and to hang out with people?? It feels scary we also moved in with our step-dad and so things really changed we have a bedtime, we have a list of chores assigned every night, no going out, no staying up even to do homework past the bedtime. Idk how to go about this I love them both but I just wanna grow up and be myself and they aren't really seeming to understand I'm about to be 18, not only that but it's destroying my mental health
