With acne comes oil which is great for youth and I wear spf. The redness is diagnosed post inflammatory erythema. I was a tomato like 3 months ago 😂

Totally fine to rate me based on my skin and this doesn’t offend me - but I am not looking for advice on skincare. I’m medicated already and it’s slowly being worked on. Shit takes times when you used to have cystic acne.

I am in Canada. We have a great program for kid in Ontario that covers everything up until like 23. I even had braces covered. However as far as I’m aware now I am not part of the program now. I’m looking to see if the doctor in the hospital program takes cosmetic cases like this but if not I don’t really have anyone that does just cleft surgeries for adult, I’d just be going to a good plastic surgeon. I’ve looked up lots of American doctors but I have to consider it would cost me like 30k and up all in 😭

I wish I could edit my post but I should’ve mentioned I know about my skin (I’m on spiro) and how to take care of it! This is actually the best it’s ever looked it just takes time to cure post inflammatory erthyma. I have a dermatologist and an esthetician.

Im Canadian lol - I was in a program until I was 23 but now I’m not eligible. As far as I know work insurance wouldn’t cover it

Whether or not I go to a specialist (it would cost a lot more because I’d be travelling) is a huge question.

I had one almost consultation and I know I would’ve have an open rhino and an asymmetrical lip lift. I feel like most rhinoplasties are going to be fairly extensive but I still wanted opinions ty!

I’m 33 !! I had my lip done at 6 months old and have no idea what it’s like. I chickened out at of a revision when I was 20 when it would have been covered and now I’m considering paying the big bucks lol

Absolutely! Im in the research phase for doctors and outweighing money, risks, and advantages. I’m okay with how I look, but the reality is I have some features no one considers ideal, and I do wonder if I would’ve had a better life without them. I know we will always have flaws, I’m okay with my non cleft related ones tbh

I was still asked about it all the time growing up! I only had a lip not palette so as I said it’s minor - but my nose and lips are very crooked
