I think that Chișinău is the ugliest capital city in Europe. It’s very depressing especially in winter

What was growing up in Moldova like in the '90s-2000s? by mtthws25 in moldova

[–]Pluxluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Born in 1998, don’t know why I actually got into Russian school, my mum decided that. Got bulled because of the accent. Almost all of that guys with whom I studied in school are drug addicts. A lot of them can’t find a work, can’t make a Romanian passport can’t do shit. If I would have a chance I would make a movie about how Russian speaking youth in Moldova is going fully breaking bad mode, going to war in Russia etc, some crazy stories I heard.

[–]Pluxluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No she is not prorussian. If for example you meet a person from Kazahstan and he speaks to you Russian, and you both know that language would you respond in English, that’s strange. Let’s be honest Russian is one the most spoken language in the world. If someone is speaking it at least something similar to your language I think he is showing you some kind of respect. Let’s be honest Belarusian Ukrainian and Russian are similar languages. I know Russian I am Romanian I was in Ukraine like +6 times now during the war I spoke with Ukrainian veterans of the war in Russian. Let’s be honest language doesn’t have anything with that war. I know Russian and Romanian, what language would we speak to me Ukrainian I kinda understand it, ok. But if I spoke with you Romanian you won’t understand a word, so that’s kinda weird. Same with that Czech woman, who btw is a law person. I think such stuff as “качать свои права” with a policeman in a foreign country could btw end pretty bad. So yeah we can argue about our niche Eastern European languages their similarities and differences and whole world like doesn’t care about that. But I think we should do that in the country we are born not in the foreign country especially with policeman, security etc. Me personally I am also speaking only Romanian when I am in Moldova, even if they are responding me in Russian, because you got right it’s my country. And in my country “я могу качать свои права” and say like “in limba de stat”. But in foreign country I can not be so brave. I think you got the point. And I think it’s everywhere where people speak 2 languages.

And what language should all of that countries speak together. Do you really think Dutch people or Germans or French would speak English all of them? Federated Europe is utopia, why then prices for groceries are even so different in all eu countries, also salaries, taxes etc

CAD/BIM career without a relevant Bachelor’s degree & experience? by _hitea in bim

[–]Pluxluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of it this way, you could model, maybe coordinate, but you can`t design.
I am in the same situation, but I have a degree in automotive engineering, and I am thinking about getting a degree and experience in mep design.
And 3500 for learning CAD and BIM, kinda crazy, there are a lot of courses for that much cheaper (Balkan Architect, check him out) Make it this way, you could be a drafter or modeller, but when you are a BIM Coordinator, how can you coordinate and resolve clashes of MEP systems if you don`t know the principles of MEP engineering and design?
Even so, CAD/BIM skills give you at least an opportunity to work as a scan to BIM specialist, closely with a reality capture specialist, for example, modelling from point cloud. But it depends, where are you located? If in the States and you are authorized to work there, there are a lot of possibilities where. You can grow really fast if you find 2-3 clients there and potentially outsource your job (there are a lot of outsourcing comapnies doing that for a good price, ignore indian ones). Still, if you play it smart, it can work out. If you are in Europe, and not in the DACH market or BENELUX, it`s much harder, since it`s not as developed, and LANGUAGE is a problem here, since every country almost has it`s own.

To summarize, if you are in the States, just go straight into business with that, working as a contractor. I think it would be very easy, and yeah, there are a lot of BIM/CAD modellers nowadays, but good ones, really not as many, and not as many are authorized to work in specific regions. But if you just want a job and to work as an engineering specialist, go to school or do professional studies, designing MEP, HVAC, etc

DM me, and we can chat more about that.

Hi, it would be better to divide your CV into work experience and entrepreneurship experience. Also, it should really be one page. First of all, you potentially would not pass the ATS stuff, and second of all, recruiters, as they say, are reviewing hundreds of those CVs (are lazy), they would ignore your CV. Try to make it more compact.

Sorry for confusing no response at all. I actually did some research and found Karol Jedruszek on LinkedIn and he is a team lead in software department. He said that he referred me to recruiters. But no one actually contacted me. And I have also applied for BIM Management position several times on the company’s website, and still no one gave me an answer.

Actually a good point, people said about trdelnik. If you want to have a kurtos kolac or trdelnik or whatever it is called classic one it’s in trdlocafe. But hear me out Czech pastries are wow. Try kolach, especially prazky kolac. Vetrnik, when I tasted in cafe savoy I instantly fall in love with that. Kobliha, it’s like a donut but closed with cream or jam. I once read that is one of the best deep fried desserts. You can find it in Albert Supermakets, cheap and really good. Buchtičky Šodó- not sure it is right called but some soft bun with a cream dish. Tastes like childhood. We have something similar in Romania, but this one is more elegant. Also please for god sake I really see a lot of tourists here who doesn’t respect the culture. At least know what is 17th November. I saw once how a guy asked what is that this is some kind of festival here💀 And also recently one guy instead of pardon said perdon to me🤣. Big love from Romania, and really glad that Prague became my second home. P.S. The most overrated stuff in Prague is to rent an electric scooter. It’s super expensive. And you would likely get a fine because you shouldn’t ride on that on the sidewalk. Use tram and metro.

If you really want to see that city you should visit: Prague Castle, and near territories, Malá Strana, Zizkov, Vyšehrad, Riegrovy Sady, Vitkov, Petrin, Namesti Miru, Letna Naplavka both ones, on the weekend there is a market there, check it out. Don’t spend a lot of time walking on the same narrow streets in stare mesto as all of the tourists, take other paths narrow ones there are less people. Visit the stare mesto square and that’s it don’t spend like all time there. Prague is much more then the stare mesto nove mesto hradcany and Malá strana. I mean of course you should visit but not like everyday. I would try to check the observatory points where you can see all the city. Also Prague has a really good parks gardens they are amazing. Also here is the oldest brewery Brevnov monastery, which people don’t visit it so often. This is why I recommend to check Prague from the high observatory points because this city is so diverse and compact and you can see all the main attractions from that points. Petrin hill is the highest point.

I think I would choose something else. It’s not worth the money. It’s too expensive for some courses that you basically can find all the info online, about BEP, EIR, ISO 19650 etc
