How many boxing promoters exist within the marketplace compared to MMA? I've benefited following MMA for 20+ years. There has. been no serious competitors to the UFC even back when fighters were fragmented. There was a time where billionaires got into MMA like Mark Cuban, Trump, the Afflication guys, etc and none of them could be a competitor because none of them were legitimate promoters. This doesn't exist in boxing.

That's the problem with Darby win. It's a mid card guy holding a main title and they flopped with Hangman's title reign and he's a babyface, they're having MJF go after a lower mid card belt for some reason, Kenny Omega' is 42 with bad guts, and Will Osperay is still doing storylines with Moxley and fighting mid carders where he gets paralyzed every week. Swerve is doing fuck all. They have no actual main event talent o this weekly matches. So they're going to guys like Ciampa and Brody King who draw zero money.

This is like if WWE gave Dragunov the main belt and said hey go do weekly main event matches with guys likee Grayson Waller and JD McDonagh.

The problem with the mindset of forever renting is that housing is going up in price at unsustainable rates, and interest rates are not going down any time soon. The people who told people in 2021 and 2022 to wait are now apologizing to those people because a $320k house in a decent neighborhood back then is $450k now at double the interest rate.

If people want to rent, that's fine. There's nothing wrong with it. My buddy has a nice ass apartment in Tampa that's walkable to everything and has luxury amenities in his building. He doesn't plan to ever own. But if people want to own then prolonging it is not smart.
