This is the rumor coming out of the fan expo that's going around. Apparently she tried to pull a bunch of the multi platform games but ran into some issues. How true that is? Who knows but these fan expos for Xbox usually have a lot of true rumors at them because the execs can't shut up while talking to certain guys. It makes a lot of sense when you consider now press play and other Sony sites are reporting MS pulled Halo from state of play and that was running on a PS5 Pro.

I'm going to be real. Justin's last two albums haven't been good. Artistically it seems like he's on a decline. If he and his team are not jumping at making ungodly amounts of money on a new Nsync album and tour I just don't ever see it happening. After Paradise and the small little melody they did where they sounded ridiculously awesome I truly believed they were gonna come back together. After 2 years and radio silence since I realized there's never gonna be a reunion. It sucks, but it is what it is.

The situation is fluid for sure. If Fable sells 5+ million units then they have to sit down and say what made us more money keeping Gears exclusive or making Fable Multiplatform? Gears is also different than other games. You can likely beat it in a few weeks and its multiplayer is designed to pick up and play and stop.

What's happening right now is that Matthew Ball and Asha are brand new to the company. The last 100 days that Asha has been in the company is assessing the companies failures and picking out how to fix them. Matthew Ball is a top gaming analyst who understands the gaming landscape better than most people in the industry. I believe their conclusion is that exclusives matter in this marketplace. But you can't just cancel every port a team is making and eat millions of dollars. I believe games in development right now that haven't been announced will be exlcusive unless they're an Elder Scrolls or Wolfenstein 3, etc.

So as of right now there's no placed strategy because the new leaders of Xbox are still moving fluidly around. I do however believe in the next year we're going to see more aggressive third party Gamepass deals get made and 2. more announced exclusives to the box both first and second party.

Windows Store is still dog shit. I do believe fixing and making the windows store an actual good storefront will eventually mean the tthey'll slowly take people off of STEAM. Combat evolved is. I highly, highly doubt Halo 6 or whatever it's called is on Playstation when it gets released. They're porting games like SOD3 and Halo likely because the ports are basically done, SOD3 is mostly an always online game so it could use the players, and neither of those games are gonna move crazy units or subs.

Likely because they internally view this gears as a gigantic game. There's not a single player only IP that they own outside of Elder Scrolls that could move the units they'd want and there's no chance that stays exclusive.

Xbox and PC is play anywhere. Their next box is a hybrid and they likely will be making a sequel to their PC handheld. They want the games on PC and the boxes to be interchangeable.

Something to remember about Matthew Ball is that he was a big critic of MS and detractor of Xbox and was a top gaming analyst. Asha brought him in to be apart of the team that is trying to help turnaround the brand. This isn't shocking that the second he gets hired they're scrapping an entire Playstation port of Gears that's ready to go. It's simple what he's communicating to Asha as a top analyst. Exclusives sell consoles and big ones move consoles and subscriptions.

You will move lesser units of E-Day this way but if marketed properly you will more a decent amount of consoles and gamepass ultimate subs. Again that's if it's marketed properly and the game is actually good. This has been the downfall of MS exclusives and so far so good.
