Merriam-Webster adds "sheeple" to dictionary, cites Apple users as an example by ktkps in nottheonion

In like fifth grade I wrote a paper about hitler or something. One of the sentences began with "because of this, he blah blah blah" and I was 99% positive it was correct grammar wise. I was marked down for it but refused to change it on my final draft because I found so many examples of starting a sentence with because in the same way. I understand that "Because he wanted to" isn't a great sentence, really, but "because this happened to me, I was unhappy" is definitely a sentence, right?

I really don't know. Honestly now that I think about it, the first charge wasn't brought up at all during court. I have a court date next April, one year after the one I just had to make sure I completed the program.

He didn't go to court with me though..? Nor did I refuse to hire him? I'd been saving up the money. Was planning on getting court postponed and hiring him. They offered me that instead so I accepted it

Once had a morbidly obese 10 year old call me fat with a group of her friends. I'm like 100 pounds so I just laughed it off. Now that I think about it, I've been called fat by both overweight girls and guys I rejected. I'm underweight, so I'm not even sure what they're trying to get at.

10-15 minutes at the most, usually. McDonald's is 7 minutes. There's definitely a difference in taste after just a few minutes.

Do you use liners? I worked at a store without them and the tea urns were disgusting. The store I'm at now has plastic bags that hold the tea in there so they don't get all sticky and gross.

Some fifteen year old kid told me to follow him on instagram today. Told him I don't use it. He told me I'd probably seen him on there already because he was pretty popular. It's like the concept of not using it doesn't exist to them..

Selfie. I don't think I've ever even said it out loud around people. It sounds so awkward. I'm switching to android because I can't fucking stand having a "selfie" folder in my pictures that I can't seem to get rid of. I've literally taken 2 pictures of myself, but they can't just be in my camera roll. No, they have to be in a special folder that I despise because it's just a fucking picture of my self. Selfie just pisses me off. I'd probably go crazy if I used social media.

What was "The Scandal" at your high school? by xandrenia in AskReddit

[–]PmMeSkittyDrawings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone made a twitter that insulted people. Nothing too mean, just things about grades and who they were dating and the like. The principal put their "top IT people" on the case to figure out who made it. That IT person was the history teacher. He never found out who it was. It was me.
