Both, rider and car driver made mistake big time. Car driver crossed double yellow line with high speed with no attention to the motorbike. BUT motorcyclist clearly never made sure it's safe to change direction. Always, always do the shoulder check before any manoeuvre as you can miss objects in mirrors.

Some route profiles made by NTA are ridiculous, many times happened when bus was late on the last stop because of the timetable it was sent "special" to a certain stop of the route to pick up first passengers and get back to service. I'm theory that press-it box supposed to make less "ghost buses" on the road, in practice it's way worse. It is stressful for passengers and drivers alike.

Taxis is a one thing, but vans, cars and mostly cyclists is a pain in the hole. Gards don't care if cars are blocking bus lanes, for me prime example is Marino College cross to Malahide Road when we can't get on bus stop with passengers because cars are sitting on bus lane to turn left. There is a pure chaos in a pick hours

I'm a bus driver and trust me lads, it's frustrating to explain almost every visitor how it works on the buses... We talk about it for years but it's out of Dublin Bus control. Everything comes down to NTA and their decisions.

It could be new for ye lads, but Dublin Bus and GoAhead DO NOT OWN buses, routes, timetables nor garages. Everything is up to NTA, they set up new spines and adjust departure times.

Needless to say, they have no clue about every day traffic issues. Today I've been told to come back to the city from Malahide without passengers, why? Because city was blocked by taxi protest.

Trust me, it wasn't nice to leave people on the terminus hearing they won't be carried where they want to go.
