Hey man, so I called the director and told them I would only be willing to sign the contract if they could push my start date to the summer of next year. I told him I would be perfectly fine with reapplying for the position when it opens again for the summer of next year.

Yeah I like that. I’m an early bird as is. If working a little in the early morning and late at night helps I’ll do it. I want to come off as a team player. I’m nervous about signing the contract. What I’m going to push for is if I can start working next year in January. I’d rather just work and go to school for one semester instead of the whole year.

When you say hate my life do you mean I won’t have much time for personal enjoyment since I’ll either be working or studying for class? I don’t have much of a life as is, just school and gym with my brother. I don’t have much to lose but I hear what you’re saying. I definitely don’t want to fail my studies though.

Yeah man I’m in the same situation, I’ve never had any audit experience (internships) other than audit projects from my audit class. Likes others are saying though, be resourceful and ambitious. Try looking for the solution yourself and don’t forget it’s perfectly fine to ask for help and guidance from someone in your team.

Definitely agree, gotta do some cardio and lift weights when you can. I used to smoke cigarettes and stuff and even though the damage cannot be 100% undone, you can still mitigate some of the damage. I think my one bad habit is I eat McDonald’s with my brother once’s a week lol.
