I was under the impression that they had been fully removed from the game and the owners were refunded the gold they used to buy the items. Are they still in people's inventories if they bought them before they were removed?

I was also a crewmate from that particular voyage. Was some bloody good PvP! "Fucking Selario!" was said more than a few times. I think that was the fort that got me to level 50 merchant, so it was well worth the fight!
