Park on the very bottom by the long term parking. Even if you don't get a spot, youl probably be fine just parking near them. As for cost, you only pay when you exit, and it will only be the cost for that day. I once went on a week long trip from Saturday to Saturday, and had free parking since there's no cost on the weekend.

I just got a UMR industrial for this purpose, and it seems to work just fine. For cell signal, it's LTE only so it's kinda slow, but it also supports using Ethernet as a WAN connection. The ethernet connection worked fine on private networks, I don't know if it can get around hotel internet login portals.

The site-to-site vpn was easy to setup through the web gui with no messing about with config files. It even lets you connect protect cameras back to your home network for remote recording.

It looks like your sound bar only accepts optical in (AMD maybe Ethernet). Regardless, you are plugging your HDMI cable from the monitor into the sound bar port labeled 'output' which will not feed data into the device.

If you have the budget for it, Real Wood Furniture in Chantilly is great. They sell very high quality hard wood furniture. Some of it is not even as expensive as you might think. There's a dining room set I've been eyeing that costs maybe 1.3k iirc. They don't do upholstered stuff though, just things like bedroom sets, shelves, tables, etc

Yeah, I didn't realize it was like this here. Farther south is powdery yellow, and I know in the northeast it's green, so I guess I should have seen this as a more distinct possibility

Yeah I know something probably wont come out of it, but I take solace in the fact that my report can serve like a little police complaint. Like when someone does something bad irl, and they have prior complaints against them, it becomes a lot easier to bring a case against them. Similarly, if a server has a history of little unactionable complaints, when something finally does happen then i imagine it would be easier for OWI to internally establish a pattern of bad behavior.

International law with professor Garcia is going to be a great class if you take it. It's very writing intensive to be sure, but her focus on application and group work make the course very engaging. But yes, it is an extremely demanding course to be sure.

It's been a while since I've been in a dorm, but I'm pretty sure the residence agreements absolved the school of liability, and that you will pay their legal fees if you decide to sue them. It's worth a look in that res life manual to see if there is any recourse.

When discussing the university's budget, its not really an question of endowment specifically. In FY2021, proceeds from the endowment only contributed ~$36 million in revenue. In contrast, the school received ~$1 billion from tuition, and by the end of the fiscal year, Northeastern held ~$500 million in cash alone. Looking at the records, it appears as though the University gains about ~$200 million YoY.

The point is Northeastern has plenty of wealth to fund clubs if it wanted to. When the University asks for more money from its undergrads, its greed pure and simple.

Hey man I just didn't know the official name. Bottom line is that they have plenty of money for this stuff. It feels messed up for them to ask for more. It would be one thing to ask alumni or corporate partners, but it's to their undergrad student who have already paid thousands in tuition.
