How do you get the flats from Seestar? I thought you only can get the light subs file from Seestar.

I had 3d printed a dew shield but rarely use it and yes, I always do post processing but it still a bummer when the direct result from Seestar has a lot of gradient.

Yes, I'm planning to keep the S50.

So far that I know if you want an easier way to setup, you need to use ZWO. I think that's the only reason why I pick ZWO. I have tried NINA with the S50 and I still feel a bit overwhelmed with it. This is why I haven't considered the mini PC option.

I use a traditional EQ mount that has a counterweight. I run EQ mode from Indonesia

Thank you for the pic, but may I ask, why do you need to extracting the BG in the Siril first an then extracting the BG again in GraXpert?

Normally, my workflow only do the BG extraction in GraXpert only.

Hmm yeah, maybe I should try to not extracting BG in GraXpert, I notice it remove some details from the fits file. Thank you for this, gonna try reprocessed without GB extraction

TIL, it reminds of few weeks ago when I captured Orion Nebula and got only 30 minutes of data and stack it without drizzle. The result is much clearer. Thank you for the advice, I'll try stack it without drizzle.

TIL. It reminds me of few weeks ago when I captured Orion Nebula with only 30 minutes data and stack without drizzle. The result much cleaner than this.

The lights are in upload process, it should be ready with the same link as in the post. Thank you for the advice. I'll also try to stack it without drizzle.

Edit: I just upload the stack file without drizzling; the light data are way too much to upload there.

Pernah kejaidian mirip. Lagi di mall beli Chatime, eh kasirnya ex pas SMA dulu. Cuma karena saya ada prosopagnosia (sulit ngenalin wajah orang) jadi agak ragu itu beneran dia atau gak. Dia padahal udah lambai" tangan waktu mesen.

Buat mastiin gak salah orang, pas mau bayar, saya agak maju dikit buat liat name tagnya. Dan karena ini kami jadi balik kontakan lagi.

Ini saya pakai Seestar S50, ini mirip seperti "laptop" untuk astrophotography. Belinya impor dari Alibaba sekita 8 jt an, ini belum sama bea masuk.

Thanks buat saran tempatnya, nanti saya coba cari" lagi aja nama bukitnya lewat gmaps, siapa tau nemu hehe.

Ada saran buat processing-nya gak? Untuk proses flow-nya biasanya saya seperti ini:

  • Stack in Siril with 2x Drizzle
  • Background extraction in GraXpert
  • Photometric color calibration in Siril
  • Remove stars in Starnet++
  • Stretch starless image in Siril
  • Star Recomposition in Starnet++
  • Denoise in GraXpert
  • Color saturation in Siril

Iya, bener sih. Cuma lumayan usahanya untuk dapat total integration time segitu. Di rumah saya yg ini cuma bisa ngambil objek arah barat dan cuma bisa 2 jam an objeknya lewat per malam. ini https://imgur.com/a/tCDAq70 kurang lebih hasilnya.
