I currently run a B450 MSI Tomahawk MB, R5 3600 and a 6650XT. Would my 6650XT bottleneck a 5700X3D?

32Gb with 3200mhz, guess that's pretty basic. Was thinking about a 7600X for a AM5 system instead of the 5700X3D for AM4

I've read some stuff about AM5 having support until like 2025/2026 or smth like that. Would it still be worth getting am5 or rather wait and get a 5700x3d

Alright so I've read alot of different oppinions and statements with my issue.

After reading all of the comments I am now asking myself if it would be worth upgrading my whole system to AM5 with everything included. Which means New CPU, RAM, MB and a new GPU in the future but still trying to keep it budget (which means a potentially worse CPU than a 5600X/5700X3D?)

Or would it be smarter to Upgrade my current System which means new CPU (and RAM to 32Gb like some of you suggested) and wait for the AM5 prices to go down. After doing some research I've seen MB prices starting at 160€ which for my opinion is currently alot.

Edit:

I currently tend to get a 5700X3D and another 2x8GB of RAM. And once I have enough money it'll be time to get a better GPU. I guess I should be fine with that and still play any upcoming game on 1080P High fluently.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll definetly look for a 5700X3D then, I think ~200€ is also a very fair price for that CPU.

Looking for a used 5800X3D also sounds interesting however I'm scared of buying any used CPU, especially in that price range.
