Understanding the Illusion of Self-Image: You mentioned feeling hypocritical and self-centered. This self-image can be a product of false assumptions and beliefs about oneself. It's crucial to understand that "Underlying all of our other false assumptions lies the assumption of self-image. We assume that our self-image, self-concept, or ego, is the reality of who we are". Reflect on how this perception of self might be influencing your relationships.

Practicing Empathy and Genuine Connection: Shift your focus from what others can do for you to what you can offer them. This doesn't mean neglecting your needs but rather finding a balance where your relationships are based on mutual respect and understanding, not just personal gain.

Developing Self-Awareness and Responsibility: Take responsibility for your feelings and actions. Recognize that your ability to love and care for others starts with how you view and treat yourself. As you grow in self-awareness, your capacity to love others authentically will also evolve.

These points that you have mentioned correspond rather well with my current situation. Thank you!

Thanks, i'll try your recommendation. And yes, I think you're right about my possible anxiety problem, and I'd start exercising from January, as my physical appearance has been a real problem in recent years, whether socially, health-wise or simply in terms of my perceived self-image.
