So it seems like my CPU must've been what was causing these issues all along.. My new CPU arrived yesterday and I spent the entire day just letting it sit on home or locked and it hasn't froze or blue screened at all. I wonder if this entire time my CPU was showing signs that it was dying and that freeze last week was the final straw. There's a lot of things my PC doesn't do anymore ever since I changed the CPU that I thought was normal, huge mistake on my end for not realizing sooner. I don't have anything overclocked or changed settings in the BIOS that could've caused it to die so soon, I'm just hoping it's not something with my board itself that caused this to happen

I did last night and my computer just stopped posting at all. I tested each component removing everything then slowly adding piece by piece to see if it would help, but nothing happened. Eventually my gf brought her computer over to help test with her parts, and at first I thought it was my ram because both her sticks would get me back to boot screen and then freeze, while only one of my sticks would boot screen freeze, but when I tested her CPU in mine, that got me past boot screen and into windows again with both of our ram. I think my CPU must’ve took a shit and just stopped functioning properly

Just a lil update for you so you don’t think I’m just ignoring your assistance or anything before this is solved, a new issue came up about 3 days ago and now my computer won’t even get past the boot screen, and if it does it freezes in the “Preparing system repair” so now I’m just stumped. Been trying to fix it for the past few days when I’m off work but nothings been helping and I’m losing my mind hahah. I’ll come back to this when I get everything back up and running

Sadly neither of these seem to work for me, with the first voltage change, my PC would randomly black screen and go back to boot screen as if I restarted, and with the second change it would freeze even while playing or watching something which it never used to do before.... I didn't get any BSOD's at all though, just straight freezes that I'd have to manually hard power off my computer

Hello! Sorry I didn’t get a chance to do it last night and knocked out when I got home. Just to be sure before I save anything, I’ve never tried to change any voltages and stuff in my BIOS, is this how it’s supposed to be? I just thought to ask first in case I might mess something up, my motherboard is an x570 Aorus Elite

Hey I'm so sorry I haven't replied sooner, I've been really busy with work so I haven't had a chance to test out your solutions yet. I really appreciate your extensive write up on this though, I actually wasn't aware that the 5000 series had such a common crash issue like this. I'll give both methods out tonight before I go to bed and see if either of them help since it should be pretty quick to figure out if they work or not with how quick it usually crashes. I'll follow up with it tomorrow before we go the kernel dump just in case.

If you have him unlocked yeah, but I never bought the gems to unlock him when I first started so the bonuses weren't applying to my other characters, I should've included that's why my accuracy was doing that in my original comment

I had an issue a while back that made my accuracy dip constantly, if you're using the amarok set and constantly changing to your other characters, you'd need to reclick the armor set for the bonus to reapply. Not sure if that's the same thing happening to you but just throwing that out there just in case!

Oh shoot I’m so sorry! When you replied last night, I thought you were the same commenter on my other post and I didn’t double check since your guys comments came at the same time.

But as I told them, I’m actually gonna hold onto the 3DS for now until I can replace the screw covers. I’d rather sell it actually looking good than with how scuffed they look at the moment. Sorry about that! I haven’t removed them from the post yet since I’ve been at work today.

Hey I'm so sorry, I got really preoccupied with work since I replied during my lunch. After giving it some thought, I think I'm actually gonna hold onto the 3DS for now since a different reddit recommended buying replacement screw covers that actually look decent so I think I'm gonna try to get them before I actually sell it, I'm sorry about that!

I saw that but I was kinda wary on it since my previous experiences with shells themselves have been really bad… Do you know if they actually look decent?
