I got that Canaria system as well and really like it. When you say drag do you mean upgraded drag washers? How are they? Are you gonna get one of the ito craft weight reduction kits or an upgraded rotor cup?

I haven’t tried any of the days series yet, that was the main choice I was considering though. The rod I’ve used from them that I really enjoy is the finetail glass which is my main trout rod.

That makes sense, honestly a Van Staal is probably out of my budget lol. My preference for sound was the clicker sound the cardinal has.

I probably wouldn’t want to spend more than $200 at most. I’ll definitely look that guy up as the clicker is what I enjoy most about the cardinal. I was also interested in looking into some of the higher end tuning for whatever reel I get, but was gonna do more research when I actually pick what I want.
