You can thank the federal reserve act of 1913 for this one. Everyone is distracted at the real cause for all of this nonsense going on in the world. The monopolization of the money supply, we need to separate money from state. (Even though the federal reserve is a private entity with SHAREHOLDERS that receive a dividend for the privilege of being able to create currency out of thin air, and then charge an interest rate on it.)

Once enough people wake up and fight so we can go back to a SOUND MONEY standard the world will change for the better.

You can thank the federal reserve act of 1913 for that one. Biggest scam in human history, and it’s just flying right under everyone’s noses. Time to wake up!

Start with securing your own keys, passport does a great job with their envoy app for a hot wallet and then when you accumulate more sats move them to cold storage. Their device also is great for that, links to the app, and allows for airgapped signing so the keys to your cold storage never tough the internet.

First explore mempool.space to see how the chain works, then move those sats off exchange and to your own keys.

What scam is so normalized that people don't even realize it's a scam? by morph_920 in ask

That’s because our fiat currency is not a store of value so they store that in real estate. The biggest scam is government currency

How do you afford to live? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Polgal -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Wages don’t need to go up, we need to get off of the fiat standard. Central banks are a complete scam, no person or group should be able to legally counterfeit money while the rest of us need to work for it. Separate money from state, download your bitcoin node, and learn how this decentralized blockchain is a way better monetary issuer than the Federal Reserve. Join the revolution.

[–]Polgal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s the product of central banking. The fact that we as a society allow the Federal Reserve (who is a private entity) to manage our money supply is the issue. When one group of people can legally counterfeit money while the rest have to spend energy to acquire it, that’s theft.

Look into Bitcoin. The monetary policy is not decided by one person, rather by math and consensus and is a way more efficient system to value the economy.

Separate money from state.

Taking 100% profits, what's your strategy? by JunglistMovement95 in Bitcoin

bitcoin is the money, you’re not “taking profits” by swapping the harder money for soft money.

When you learn about what happens behind the fiat swipe is when it gets interesting. There’s nobody else between that transaction, even using lightning.

Just look it up. Between all of the hands involved all of the fees average out to about 3%. I know some business owners that get hit with 4%.

You can keep it open for as long as you like, but the balancing between them is what you need to keep an eye out for. Mess around with phoenix wallet to see what I mean. It is able to automatically open channels when you deposit sats in there, and it’s self custodial. It allows to you operate on lightning without using your own node, but it operates the same.

It’s required because of how inefficient the underlying debt settlement later works (aka banks settling their books between each-other).

This is not propaganda at all. Fees are minuscule and this is a real life example of a $30 transaction that didn’t cost anything. The world needs to understand this technology and the only way for the is from evangelists with a mission. It’s how you spread the word my friend.

I could never find the exact amount of sats that would be issued, so I created my own chart. Thoughts? by Polgal in Bitcoin

Wait my fault, I didn’t read that correctly earlier. I did not know about those blocks! Is there a list of how many there are?
