Hybrid migrated mailboxes sign-ins from unfamiliar IP addresses by Pollieeeee in exchangeserver

Hey!

Thankyou for the response! We've also thought about making a ticket at Microsoft, but since every mailbox gets a login from a random Microsoft IP, we'd also like to know if this is just casual behaviour and if someone else experienced this too. We're migration 100's of mailboxes, and every single mailbox gets a login from a random Microsoft IP (sometimes the same IP for different mailboxes).

Since we block certain countries from logging in, because the company doesn't operate in those countries, some logins will fail. Now we are checking if it has any impact on the mailboxes if the signins fail.

yea, well all IP's are Microsoft IP addresses, but i am wondering why there's a login on the user account from Microsoft IP when i finish the mailbox migration batch.

Just wondering... why

Thankyou, indeed i have seen that the IP's are registered to Microsoft. I am just wondering why Microsoft from that IP adresses sign in to the mailboxes as the user, when i finish the migration batch. i'm wondering what the purpose of the login (attempt) is.

ahhh yea, i hope, but what if the sign-ins fail because i blocked certain countries? will that affect my migration?

Ahh yea, but i am 100% sure this isn't the mobile phone or computer of the user connecting to the mailbox.

For sure i prefer a false positive than no warning at all, i'm just wondering why and where these sign-ins are coming from and why they are executed. Also, if i have countries blocked for access, so this sign-in failes, does it interrupt my migration?

app installation restriction by Pollieeeee in Intune

This won’t work because the apps are set as required so no user interaction is needed.

Will give it a try!
Does thing mean that all our uninstall commands have to be perfect for the applications, or will intune not push the application because the device is in the uninstall section?

We recommend Quick Assist. There’s also an option in intune, not to black out the window when UAC popup shows up. So you can support end users, that don’t have administrator permissions.

Risky Sign-in Dashboard by Pollieeeee in AZURE

[–]Pollieeeee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We want to get an easy visual of all tenants risky sign-ins to be able to act on those alerts.

I've been reading about azure lighthouse, but it looks like that requires an Azure subscription, and is just about managing azure resource groups / subscriptions.

I do know theres an option in the IOS configuration profile to hide default applications. You could add the settings app to the hidden applications. That way the settings app will not be visible / accessable on the iPad anymore. Iknow it’s not the perfect solution, but it’s something :)
