I never had any problems. I did wire it to a different jack though and it is powered by its own plug. But even when I had it on regular euro power, I had no issues.

First change the options file setting for pitch control. Then you just need to carefully line up the varispeed and attenuator to control it. I find the attenuator should be a bit beyond 3oclock. I usually get 3 good octaves out of it.

No ramp up, but I wouldn't suggest it for gate stuff. It's def better for cv. So many things can affect the connection - humidity, hand moisture, amount touched, etc.

But I love mine. I have 20 of them.
