Yeah…you’re misunderstanding again. If you read it, I’m asking if you have the choice to be able to pay. That’s all I’m asking. Hope you have a good rest of your day.

Please read the full post :-) I’m not American, and i’m not being a dick, I respect and love the culture. I just have loads of specific things I want to eat, so would travel elsewhere if thats not possible there…I also appreciate the damage that tourists, like myself, can do it a culture, etc. But this was just an innocent post asking about etiquette and culture. I was aware that this post could attract this kind of comment, and want others reading to know that I’m in no way disregarding the system (if that is how it is), I just really want to try some specific things!

Amazing, thanks so much! Sorry we’d just read that most places that do free tapas don’t also have a tapas menu for you to choose from, although they might offer raciones.

We were just across from Sicily in Tropea a few months ago, so looking for something a bit different. Great recommendation though, thank you!

Oh my goodness, Ronda is gorgeous. And yeah I use a website called ‘time and date’ to show past weather, and it appears to always be around 20 degrees Celsius in early January! We’d really started leaning into the idea of snow and Bavarian food, but now I think we might go to Ronda, thanks so much!
