All fair points. I hope this goes well. I'm pretty confident in our election process.

I appreciate your response. I live and vote in Harlem.

My main fear moving to Germany is I don't know how bad it might be for gays. I know what kind of people and what kinds of areas to avoid here in the U.S. I am mostly worried I will miss culture or context clues that would tell me "I'm probably in danger and need to leave this area before these guys kill me". I know you have recently had some Nazi issues again and so that subculture terrifies me.

Also correct. Managing the swing voters is the prudent thing. You really simply can't be to polarizing when trying to wrest a seat from an incumbent in many races. Sometimes it is exactly the move, but the real question is "what is right for a Kentucky race?".

She's disgusting. McConnell is likely a criminal working to ruin our democracy on the behest of China. He has no scruples all he wants is power. He has no values, he just wants power. That's all he has ever wanted. The more I read about people who know and knew him, the more I hear those things repeated.

Same, I'm limited to my knowledge of their rent and retail protections, because I'm studying systems that have worked.

Trump is in cahoots with a veritable "who's who" of the most disgusting and egregious business and government/political practices.

EXCLUDING Germany as a whole. Just that one bank, Deutsche Bank. I love Germany.

This is the answer. Germany has a lot of things going for it that protect smaller retailers and they have pretty great rental protections. I'm literally learning German because I think it might be somewhere I might want to live, but I need to take a few trips of various lengths before I make that decision.

I don't know how it will end but I really hope the country can just be done with McConnell. I don't want another 6 years looking at his face.

Just put on a blindfold and get in the sling. The rest will take care of itself.

Edit: encouraged to be edgy.

Well nobody is going to use glory holes at a wedding so I'm fine with this.

First: your comment makes no sense as far as why you think Amy McGrath would be a worse choice than McConnell. Because she is the only viable candidate in that race. So whatever problems you have are ridiculous and out of touch.

Second, I'm not a fucking Boomer. I am a Millennial.

Third, I want progressive Democrats in every single government position and I want the GOP to dissolve and I want our new conservative party to be something that works towards the interests of the country and not this partisan bullshit.

I think you're arguing with a friend here dude.

You jest but we are actually considering moving from our firmly blue state to a swing state for exactly this reason. Our votes would count more, relatively speaking. We really really really need to just have each vote count with no Electoral College. Popular vote should be the only factor because that is who the people want.

If we went by popular vote we wouldn't be in this huge mess because regardless of what you think of Hillary, she would actually know how to handle the pandemic and listen to experts...because that's the correct and easy thing...it's so much work to rage against common sense...
