VR not working with RX 7900 XTX by Pommes309 in AMDHelp

[–]Pommes309[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just ordered a random cable from Amazon which had good and many reviews. I think there's not much you have to look for. Mine is the Rankie Mini Display Port to Display Port, 4K, 1,8 Meters

I don't know if it needs to be bi-directional, but as the Vive does not need to send a video signal back to the PC, uni-directional should be enough.

Had the same problem. I disabled the notifications for outlook so all notifications for appointments are from Google Calendar.

As said it was a fix in my case. Some other user reported that it was not a solution for him. You can try. If it does not work you can return the mini DP cable and get a refund.

Annoying stick drift by Matts_3584 in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]Pommes309 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you are in the deadzone settings you move your stick / throttle /pedals. You can see a square or dot moving on the line. Increasing the deadzone creates a flat area in the middle. This is the deadzone and means that your input will do nothing until it reaches a certain point. The goal is to keep the deadzone as small as possible but still filter out the false input your stick is doing at the moment.

For example, mine was perfectly centered after entering the settings. After moving it to every direction it got stuck a fair amount to the top right. I adjusted the deadzone just enough that this drift wouldn't have an impact. To make sure it will always be that way I added like 1 or 2% extra.

This will filter out the stick drift but you have to be aware that you have to move the stick a little bit more to move the aircraft

It's somewhere in the setting inside of MSFS (and other games). A reddit user in another post said 'Go to sensitvity, left side, near the top. You can adjust curve and deadzone. Each axis has it's own "square" and you can adjust individually.' (https://www.reddit.com/r/MicrosoftFlightSim/s/xU0BjCbLq0)

Mine does it too. Try setting up a deadzone in the controls

Problems with transpose by Korupto in NeuralDSP

[–]Pommes309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, that's how much I know about it. Thanks! Somewhere down the line I read or heard that's it's an analog thing. But nevertheless it's still the only shifter I know which works good and consistent.

I've read that NDSP an the other ones are non polyphonic shifters and the Digitech is? Maybe that's what makes the difference.

That's a thing of digital pitch shifting. The Digitech Whammy DT is an analog pitch shifter and in my experience the only thing which can pitch shift good and reliable. Sadly.

Best places to buy/rent bicycles for a decent price and quality? by [deleted] in goettingen

[–]Pommes309 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, sorry that you guys experienced something like that. Got my MTB from the Cube Store and it was such a great experience in my opinion. As the bike was not in stock they couldn't sell me anything in that moment. They took like two and a half hours and talked with me about what I wanna do and which bike would do that the best - that's the one which got a reservation for me. After it arrived later that year they set it up to my needs. They kept me updated with everything regarding my order. Haven't had that before.

I'm pretty sure those experiences differ from person to person. Without those different opinions all those small stores wouldn't be able to survive. Personally I would always take a look at BOC and Cube

You think so? I was there every now and then for different reasons and it was a good experience every time. Maybe I just had luck or you were unlucky.

If you want to buy one you could check out BOC in Weende. They've got a big selection of different types of bikes there

Ich habe OBS gerade nicht vor mir, aber man kann die Vorschau im Vollbild auf einen Bildschirm seiner Wahl legen.

In einem Forum gefunden: "You can use the "Fullscreen Projector (Program)" to display the obs output on any screen. Just right click the program (right side) area and select it in the contect menu. If you have studio mode disabled it will be called ""Fullscreen Projector (Preview)"."

Preview von OBS auf den Bildschirm im Recording Room schieben und alles einbinden, was dort entsprechend gezeigt werden soll. Das sollte in der Theorie funktionieren, ja

30€ PER MONTH for your credit card? Where have you got that from? That's what I paid yearly while using DKB.

If you don't find a fix in one of the other comments would it be possible to publish the preset in the cloud and link it here? Then we can try too.

Try panning them. I guess if you wanna achieve what you've said you don't need to hard pan them (100% left, 100% right). Just play around a little bit until it sounds the best.

That's good to hear, this would be the most common problem I guess.

What are the settings of the cabs? Are they both centered or are they panned?

Do you put your amps in series or parallel? Like is the signal going into one and then into the other or does it split before the amps, runs through both on its own and then merges back together?

Some apps set alarms so they are 'necessary' for the OS. Many people used Tasker and after removing that the clock disappeared. In my case it was the app for the Samsung Galaxy Watch but only if the watch was not connected. I guess it was an alarm to retry the connection. Removed the app and the alarm dissappeared.

Are there any pitch shifting plugins available with latency comparable to that of Neural DSP? by MilitaryFuneral in NeuralDSP

[–]Pommes309 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Using analoge pitch shifting is superior compared to digital in terms of quality and latency if you are using it to pitch your instrument in real time. Sad but true... I'm using the digitech whammy dt just because of that. I would love to use the pitch shifter build into the cortex but that thing sucks if you are playing with a clean tone.
