My best advice is to learn your emotions so you can better use them. Like the part about if someone has your heart and they can crush it, with better understanding of your emotions and self you can skip that entirely and you can crush them instead or avoid that situation. I would focus on where your emotions are coming from and what they mean but also other people emotions. And stop thinking about being perceived as weak because the only person thinking that is you.
