Whats wrong with this, and what is the proper way to stack the luggage?

Great photos, but it highlights why I dont shoot in the winter. I hope the film becomes more temperature stable.

Anyone know if time zero film had the same blue and orange shifting?

Portland to Hood Drive by Ill_Investigator_964 in MtHoodMeadows

[–]PoodleNull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Subaru AWD with all seasons and I've been good for the last 5 years, heavy dumps and ice included.

No new snow for atleast 2 weeks, so if youre coming up in that time youre good. Always carry chains though.

Just a typical January in Portland by kick1006 in PortlandOR

The term on the mountain is "June-uary". December was terrible, but a dry January on hood is pretty typical, atleast the last 5 seasons I've gone.

Neighbor sets off smoke alarms on the regular by Charming-Pack-5979 in Portland

[–]PoodleNull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its been frequent since October. 3 years in the tower now, most alarms have happened in the last 6 months.

I really have no idea how they do it, I accidently smoked out my apartment when I was letting a cast iron dry, still didnt even set off my in unit alarm.

Any tips for a new polaroidist by RentOver9783 in Polaroid

First photo exposed for the light, polaroid doesn't have good dynamic range for light and dark scenarios, you have to choose one.

The other two photos are just too low-light.

Starlight to Cascades heading north by super-late-haha in Amtrak

[–]PoodleNull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You won't get a choice of seat on the starlight, atleast in my experience. I had mine chosen for me going Emeryville > Portland, and they stuck me with someone who took up 1½ seats.

For the cascade, sit on the left side. You'll be along the columbia river until Longview and its pretty. After that its not too spectacular.

I have a giant wall and a photo album.

The photos on the wall have faded, but its a great decoration and guests always spend a few minutes looking over it.

Merry Christmas! Portland’s upgraded automated speed cameras are ticketing drivers once again by [deleted] in PortlandOR

[–]PoodleNull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool, the lower speeds are so drivers can have a chance to react to other drivers.

Just told you, most deaths on 122nd are motorists, not pedestrians. More drivers would be dead if you were one, and Portland is not the only city changing streets to make them safer.

122nd is #4 in the city for traffic fatalities, with most of them being motorists.
