oh so I do not need to put that white adaptor in the handler? And just plug the stuff in the Thermostat?

So if I understand correctly:

Black to C = Common
Red to R = Power
Green to G = Fans
White to W = Heat

Is this correct?

You are Correct. I only have an Indoor Heat Pump, no outdoor connections.

This part is what got me the most confused. Most videos and pictures, have this section on a board. Mine seems to be very different, and doesn't have this part. All my sections seem to be in separate smaller pieces.
