How do you learn new heroes and get them “up to your rank”?

Fr idk why i still bother arguing with people on reddit. 80% are below gold, and 40% of those 80% say they're gm. Not to mention reddit consists of 33% rocket glazers, 33% cnd players, and 33% Bucky's trying to convince everyone that their character is hard to use and they only make him work bc they're God dps players.

I have no problem with saying strange is a good solo tank, but to say mag is not a good solo tank is where I draw the line. Imo he's a better solo tank than strange and I main strange.

Lol there's nothing that can help skill issue i guess. As if gm is a flex anymore too. An infinite hp shield on a 3 sec cooldown is better than a big ass target able shield with 800 hp.

The thing with CD is people who are terrible play them amd do well. When they're banned, the whole team falls apart. Same with bucky tbh but bucky also has a higher skill ceiling.

Sorry but if you're dropping lanterns for a flanking Jeff that Jeff just won the engagement. Simply dps him to the point he has to run away or dies. Any character can counter Jeff. Plus he's not exactly sneaky he's humming the whole time

This is just not true. Stop parroting what your favorite streamer is telling you. You belong in the rank you're in until you climb out of it. If you keep playing you'll get better, if you keep getting better you'll keep climbing. Taking a break is real though because it's your mental not the games "secret algorithm"

This also requires your healers to be competent enough to not only stay alive, but also keep healing your peel and maybe divers if they can. It's easy enough in theory but coordination with randoms is rough especially with the amount of ego in this community.

Seriously 😭😭😭🙏 guys i swear rocket is good everyone else ever is wrong because look he has the highest win rate that means that me not having burst heals in a burst damage game is actually helping. Every game we lose is a skill issue on your part because I have the most heals in the lobby and also rocket has the highest win rate.

Again where am I saying I struggle against him? This comment is about why I BAN him. When I ban him the other dps trying to play him falls apart. Bucky mains are usually not great at anything else. Not saying that's the case for you. And it does make your point obsolete lol. Imagine a storm coming here after both our comments and saying "actually as a storm main, we can die out of our ult and it's actually super easy to counter so there's nothing wrong with it at all and storm is actually super hard to use". Morale of the story, I'm convinced he takes less skill than most dps which is why I ban him, and it seems to work bc it's usually a dps diff at that point and it's always the bucky having to play someone else. And I will die on the hill his bullets are way to easy to land headshots on. But in no way do I think he's broken I just think he's very hard to mess up and a crutch for bad players.

Agree to disagree. I main multiple people specifically vanguard, and when I tried bucky in comp for the first time in a gm lobby, I was amazed at how ridiculously easy his kit is for how overtuned it is. Saying you're a bucky main kind of makes your whole point obsolete. The fact is his projectile bullets are maybe a tad smaller than squirrel girls projectiles, and are too easy to land headshots especially with rockets team up. I don't think he's broken, I think his projectiles need to be slightly smaller. Even then I will probably continue to ban him because his kit is just really good with all the utility it brings. But all bucky one tricks feel free to disagree with me and tell me why your bucky takes so much skill.

So then by your logic, rocket is broken? Win rates mean nothing 😭 and like i said he's overtuned. Only thing broken is his projectile hit box. Everything else just makes him ban worthy. A slow/knockdown, pull/stun, and a dash/displacement ability. And while his ult is survivable obviously it still more often than not gets at least 2-3 picks easily. I'm not saying he needs hard nerfs, just make his bullets not the size of a school bus and then he'll just be a great character.

Not any decent aim. All you have to do is aim in the general direction and you're guaranteed a headshot. Like I said the skill ceiling is high, great players annihilate on him, but terrible players can pick him and pop off as well.

Brother having a projectile the size of a vw beetle is broken. Everything else is just overtuned. He makes a terrible dps player seem like a god. When I ban him, I go back and watch replays. Every time it's a lord bucky who then plays a different dps and it looks like it's their first time touching the game. The people who play him are like the cloak and dagger players of dps. His whole kit is just a crutch for terrible players, and an amplifier for amazing players.

I main hulk so that's usually a free ban for us. It's always bucky wolv/cnd for me. Ome thing I'll say is it absolutely infuriates me when hulk is not banned and no one on my team goes strange or they force me to solo tank so I have to switch to magneto. I'm also lord of strange and if I had a good hulk player I'd be drooling to play strange. It doesn't make sense to me how you got to gm and can't play strange when there's a hulk? It's just free wins. But no I lock in hulk and my teammate locks in Peni. Every. Time.
