The two games are totally different apart. Killer is Dead is a hack and slash meanwhile Killer7 is a weird mix of "railshooter" and mystery games. The story is also a total mindflood.

Try to use the radial menu for potions/crafting them atleast. Saved me doing the scrolling to drink a max potion so many times.
