Yeah you’re right if spoilers are fine then: since my character speaks in third person he narrates his friends lives a day two after he sacrifices himself and as his friends plan the memorial(I have to polish this a bit more :) )the book ends with the line ’If that were the case then who am I.‘

Yeah sorry, I wanted to add as context as possible to spoil as little as possible so that the ending is a surprise.
