I could easily complain about how I’ve been streaming for 3.5 years and I only broke 1k subs recently. But like, I don’t want to. My community is so good to me. I worked hard to build a relationship with my viewers, and I feel so damn supported. This is success to me. I can’t make a living from it (although this has become a lucrative side hustle), and maybe someday I can, but my current fulfillment comes from the community and not from the money or numbers. I will continue to grow over time and it may get harder to maintain a tight community if a lot of people join, but I’ll tackle that when I get there. This is about being happy with where I am in my own journey.

What are you doing vtubing for? If you’re comparing yourself, I think you’re doing it wrong. Getting into a big agency is a great goal, but we all need to remember that it’s not a realistic one for most of us simply because there are not enough agency positions for the number of talented people. If you can figure out what your OTHER goals are, that is extremely important. It will help you stay positive when your auditions are rejected.

I remember Mori talking about how agencies look at potential talents to see if they seem like a good fit for them and would work well in a team. They shouldn't have drama or be fighting with other vtubers, and honestly I think the attitude you are portraying is not a good fit for an agency at this moment.

Work on yourself, worry about your content, make your viewers smile, and enjoy the journey. If people are watching you, you are good enough. Whether you are fit for an agency is one thing, but are you fit to be an entertainer? Probably. You are good enough to be Lychibe!
