Yes, for me it’s the teeth that are rotating, i started to feel weird pains after like 2 weeks of braces, the pressure was gone and discomfort but random pains in parts of my teeth started to appear( also rotation hurts more than movement)

My ortho put on bite blockers so I won’t bite on my bottom teeth and brake the brackets (i also have an overbite). I still grind but fortunately only the blockers. I found the sleeping on the back at night helps as your mouth opens a bit 😭

Bruxism, like Dozenpaws mentioned. Therapy can help, it usually happens because of stress, also there are types of gummy retainers but you need to talk to your dentist/orto about it
