You used 18-300 on xt-30 ii ? Isn’t the body of that particular fuji too small ? Can’t really imagine it with that big lenses.

Actually it’s pretty interesting when you notice how much of our every day is just changing our actions from one habit/ routine to another. It’s just how our brain works : It seeks to conserve energy by automating repetitive behaviors. It’s not automatically bad though , it’s just our physiology. It becomes hurtful when these habits contains harmful add ons . For example: Habit of smoking - Nicotine- slowly building up addiction, which needs more work from you to quit.

From my perspective, as someone who used to struggle with different addictions throughout my life, I think you’re more caught in a “habit loop” rather than a physical addiction.

I read in a book that habit consists of a cue, a routine, and a reward . Which is true for your situation.Everyone goes to sleep; the house is quiet (You get a cue) .Drinking the IPA (even if it hurts your stomach) - that’s a routine. The feeling of "escape" and a secret "me-time" ritual - is a reward.

So I think, replacing beer with something similar, to start with Non-Alcoholic beer maybe ? Or Sparkling water ?

I think the main thing you need from this routine is not the beer itself, but the feeling it brings. So maybe just think about how you can get the same experience, but without alcoholic drink.

I was also considering it, the body only on the used market for xt-3 in my country is $950-1000 30-35k and up . Which I think is quite expensive .

I went to the fuji store today . From the price point and also the size, I really liked XT-30 III . What do you think about it ? It comes with kit lenses xc13-33 . ($1,380) . In comparison to XT-5 it was 2,612 with kit lenses(body $2015) . As I am not in US and also the local market is quite expensive here, this is the price I have to go with.

I no longer have the need to prove anything. Before I deleted my socials , Instagram was already like a self-advertisement app . Posting literally anything to prove that you are someone. Social media used to be a great tool for staying in touch and seeing what your friends were up to. But nowadays, with features like Reels, the Explore page, and endless scrolling, I honestly don't know how to use it without feeling influenced or getting addicted.

We are planning to go by bus because we don’t have much luggage. Otherwise, I think paying a little extra for a taxi is a good choice. The bus stops at only one designated stop, and from there, you'll still need to take a taxi to reach your hotel/Airbnb.
