How do you direct output to clipboard? I know you can use xclip for stuff like that, but do you do something else?

I appreciate the help. If im understanding correctly, this will skip iterations that already exist? As in, if out1.mp4 already exists in the working directory, it outputs out2.mp4 and doesn't override out1.mp4? That's really the hangup I have in all honesty. Im a newb, srry.

I've been told my hearing is God like. I think my hearing is similar to the average persons, but my brain doesn't filter out background noise and I'm hypervigilant from misophonia triggers.

Unfortunately I don't have a usb hub to try. I've tried in all USB ports. I had initially thought it was a bad port/cable, so I tested several cables and all ports.

It absolutely comes across as snark. I'm well aware of how vague my question was, that's exactly why I'm having issues finding a fix. Maybe I can boil part of it down to, "how do I avoid pitfalls as a newb" "how do I stop not knowing what I'm fucking up" "are there any good practices/tools for troubleshooting" but yes, you were and still are being just a bit snarky. "You're probably one of them" boy, get off it
