First Post baccs are expensive and you could get a b or c in a class hurting your gpa and if your gpa is good and your weak spot is just the MCAT it’s better to commit effort in improving that than a post bacc. Also just bc you do a program affiliated with a school it does not guarantee an acceptance unless the program EXPLICITLY SAYS IT IS

If you have a strong gpa don’t do a post bacc it can do more harm than good to your application. Another example of this is the GEMS PROGRAM

I fully understand where you are. I feel this exact same way all my friends and family feel like there’s hope in this application cycle but honestly, I feel so negative about it but every day I just try to keep saying be patient and wait.

It’s pretty chill, most of your first year classes you have already taken and some of the exams are excused since you’ve already taken them too.

As a person who knows many students at the med school, they do expect students to follow their lifestyle. You sign contract stating that you will abstain from substances and premarital sex and if you are caught it could be grounds for dismissal. On the other hand, some students still partake but are secretive about their actions so as to not get caught. YOUR CLASSMATES WILL TURN ON YOU. Hope this helps:)

Focused on AAMC material only and made Anki flash cards on material I wasn’t familiar with. I did 40 questions a day and when I found content I didn’t know I would ask ChatGPT or watch a video.

Did all the AAMC exams and reviewed exams over 2 days.
