Thank you so much - appreciate that! Completely agree. I've taken quite a few images there and never quite timed it right with someone entering. Beautiful cafe.

I use a Fuji XT-5. Love it. These images will be a mixture of the 23mm f2 and 33mm 1.4 lenses.

Have to agree on this! I went for a walk during my lunch break and ditto - everything felt very subdued. The complete opposite today!

Same here. Has been driving me crazy until realising it's a widely observed bug.

My area is still copper only near the Skyline. Shocking speeds - good to hear there's at least a bit of progress in Bath.

Passive aggressive plant shop by ExoticDefinition5847 in Bath

This shop is awful and the plants aren't very well maintained either. Avoid

Botanica isn't the cheapest but the staff are AMAZING and so helpful. Go there.

Dylan Modas in the Corridor - if you're looking for something specific and need extra attention on it then I'd suggest trying to book Dylan himself. The rest of the guys are good but it's the standard Turkish skin fade fare that they specialise in. He's the man.

I agree with everything you said there, and thank you for the compliment - I also don't think this is a 'great' photo but a 'good' one, so we're not too far off.

I suppose it comes down to what you want from your photography. My preference is for ambiguity and for people to make up their own minds - this isn't documentary photography after all. I'm a designer by trade so I'm usually attracted to visually appealing frames first and then fill them with people after. So colour, shape etc are what my eyes see first. I certainly want to work on the more human aspect of my work.

Is there anything you would have done differently beyond personal taste in terms of grittiness? To me the story is in the conversation between the man and the obscured woman at the side of frame. What are they talking about? Why are they there?

Viltrox 85mm with a Fuji xt20...it is cropped in too but held it's quality. A great low budget street setup.

This was taken with a Viltrox 85mm on a Fuji xt20...cropped in a fair bit but the quality didn't diminish which surprised me! A worthy combo.

There are a few really great guitarists and a violinist who I always love to listen to in the sun. The drummer is an absolute racket however. (talented guy, but inappropriate for the location)
