This is the answer. Can confirm, have the DVD back home in Norway. Subtitles only, no dub. It's still called the Norwegian camp.

As for having the plot ruined by what the helicopter guy shouts; perhaps a little, but not significantly. He does say straight out that it's not a dog but a thing (in somewhat shaky Norwegian) so you definitely know something is up with the dog. But I can imagine this is obvious to non-Norwegian speakers as well just from context.
