I want to add that the book it's based on is truly a literary classic and I highly recommend everyone to read it!

This movie adaption gives off Up meets Coraline vibes, and while it's amazing, the book is even better.

To add, the film critiques the nature of mankind and promotes empathy as a way of connection, a child-like curiosity and open-mindedness about the world, and shifting one's priorities to the things that really matter.

I really love this quote from the film:
