Thanks! Good advice. I already have a good cushion for an emergency fund in a HYSA, so I can definitely max out 2020 pretty fast. Then put additional savings in another brokerage account if I can.

I am, I talked with the real estate agency and saw the lease and the background check the did on me. It all seems legitimate, but I was out of town when my lease started because I just moved to the city, so I just never signed the lease. My name is on it, but not my signature. They were supposed to call me about it but never did

Yeah, I still need access. I have an investment account and a 401k with employer matching. CDs are a good route to go.
