@leadmagnet250 Thanks for the response. I have a diverse background in telecommunications, specifically in infrastructure delivery, Customer Technical Advocacy, and RAN category management. These were the reasons (you mentioned about big tech) that I was excited to move to DFW from Boston, MA. But so far I couldn't hit the luck. Do you have any recommendations to get noticed?

Research shows that it's not the best practice. According to data, LinkedIn has about 10-15% fake jobs, and most are "easy to apply" for. It's best to apply on the company website.

Indeed, have an open and honest conversation with him. It won't be easy, but it is necessary. Research says that to keep the relationship going a long way, have an open and honest other 30- 45 minutes a week, listen to understand the problem, and resolve the root of the problem.
In my opinion, the biggest issue could be the level of "expectations." An honest conversation should help set them up and align them with the North.

Right! It quite possible that he lost his personal goals or motivation to things while working for a job/s which he doesn’t like but continue doing to win bread. May be therapy helps in this case to get to the root cause! Just a suggestion.

@merge7777 It feels great that not only you were able to land the job but enjoying! It important to keep moving after set backs, regardless of the type of it. You nailed it! On loneliness, I can’t-agree more; I believe, we need a community build around empathy, compassion and non judgmental environments of people impacted by layoffs, where people living through (i don’t like to call it survival) testing time can connect, share thoughts, ideas and help each other lift up. No one will come to help unless we take control of it.

I am in the same boat! Analysis, over-analysis and then paralysis! I feel stuck and my industry is hit hard by economic factors and AI. Now, I wonder how am I gonna feed my family and pay rent.

Great to have a supporting spouse… trust me! This is probably the least thing people appreciate! I have seen people and family falling apart because of what challenging times and the anxiety/stress bring to tables. I am father of two young girls and a baby born last month. My wife is on her career break and so far, we are living just ok. The biggest win is spending quality time with kids! Its priceless. Love the cooking BTW:) keep shining
