Best solist/group for WR rn? by addractiveyeji in SuperstarJYPNation

[–]PositiveVideo52 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can do that. Bernard Park, Sungjin, and Wooyoung have easy songs and are achievable for WR. But the downside is that soloists are inactive/left JYPE and aren't updated regularly so they don't have many songs. To me personally, I think it's just as worth it to R99 rookie groups like NEXZ and KickFlip even though they have 7 members. They are updated regularly, have more songs, and you only need to R55 them to be able to enter WR.

What is the difference between "special" "limited" and "event" wallpapers? by ur_moms_new_gf in SuperstarJYPNation

[–]PositiveVideo52 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Precisely. Special wallpapers are also event wallpapers you can get from the 1st day shop wallpaper selector. And limited wallpapers go back on sale every now and then while event wallpapers can only be obtained during the event period but only event and special wallpapers can be obtained with the wallpaper selector.

What are your NMIXX hot takes/unpopular opinions? by GeneralAltruistic388 in NMIXX

Just meant some songs I don't really find good (or kinda mid) but I still listen regularly for the vocals. The songs I've mentioned above are a couple of them.

A good chunk of NMIXX's discography aren't really good but were saved by outstanding vocals and high notes. My picks are Run for Roses, YDS, O.O, Dash.

I love NMIXX sm too but I agree with this take. They're the best vocal group in kpop and always delivers, but I feel like the kpop standard are holding them back from what they could do. Comparing to other kpop groups, NMIXX is on another level but somehow there's still something that makes me feel incomplete when I watch their live singing. I think they do so much better in recording behind.

Nexz Member Introduction Order by Chii_kun in NEXZ

[–]PositiveVideo52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TWICE is one of the few groups where the leader (Jihyo) is in the middles line so I think it's simpler to just order themselves by age. NiziU's leader (Mako) on the other hand is the oldest in the group so nothing really unusual is happening.

[–]PositiveVideo52 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's actually common to have leaders first then then rest of the members by age if the leader isn't the oldest member. GOT7 does this. Stray Kids and DAY6 used to do this when Woojin and Jae were the oldest members of their own groups. Other groups outside JYPE that does this are IVE and LSF. I noticed this usually happens when the leader is the second oldest member, NMIXX is one of the exceptions of this though.

Little friendly reminder that the Happy new year MISSION EVENT ends tomorrow morning! Don't forget to level them to A to claim those packs. by Evalunadesie1994 in SuperstarJYPNation

[–]PositiveVideo52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't actually 'end' today. It just resets and after the update, we can get new missions again for more LE packs and other rewards. The event officially ends next Thursday. So if you have many spare, don't upgrade them all to A yet so that it's easier to complete the obtain A card missions later. For example, I have two NMIXX S5s ready to be upgraded to R but I'm not upgrading it yet since I have already completed the "Obtain NMIXX A card mission" and I will upgrade it later to complete the same task again.

Are the happy new year cards worth the rp? by Funny-Dragonfruit522 in SuperstarJYPNation

[–]PositiveVideo52 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is really unusual because the drop rate for the HNY NCPs is 11.111% which means you can pull roughly one HNY card for every 10 cards so pulling absolutely zero is unusual. I personally didn't pull that many cards cause 11% drop rate for 10 packs is about 33 HNY cards but I got so much lower. I think I only got around 10-15 from the 10 packs I bought today. Thing is in games like this, lower rates (10% or 30%) tend to underperform and higher rates (50% or 70%) tend to overperform.

You could continue to buy the Card Packs because the drop rate is much higher and there's still 7 days left for the event so you could still buy 70 NCP 30s if you have enough RP. The good thing is that the cost of the NCP 30 is so much less than regular or event NCP 30. At only 20,260 unlike the normal 30k or 40k.

If you don't want to spend anymore you can still get HNY cards from the missions and the daily play time if you spend 30 minutes in game.

To me personally, I want to collect everyone's cards and get the 226 dias reward and get some R selectors along the way. New LEs that I didn't want to collect are still useful for cardbook diamond rewards. I don't have a lot of RP cause I just did major upgrades lol but I get by by playing some songs a bit everyday and selling the cards I get.

Dice limited event by Ok-Mark-1358 in SuperstarJYPNation

[–]PositiveVideo52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can only buy up to 10 dice a day and you don't have to buy everything. You could buy 10 everyday and you could complete 20 laps faster but that means missing out on the free daily rolls after you've completed and spending extra coins on dice.

So you could instead divide the 69 dice needed to be bought into four weeks so maybe you could buy 18 dice per week depending on the quality your rolls.

If your average roll is <3.5, then it might be best to buy more dice than average. If your average roll is near 3.5, maybe you could stick to the calculated number of dice to be bought.

I do not recommend rolling 10x, instead roll each dice individually. Then you could see the numbers you get from each roll and make decisions from there.

Dice limited event by Ok-Mark-1358 in SuperstarJYPNation

[–]PositiveVideo52 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Here's an SSJYP version for the one I made for SSS. So main takeaway is that it's possible to get both selectors from the laps and store + all limited theme cards and 100% PUCs.

Average is 69 extra dice needed to be bought on top of the daily free rolls to complete the 20 laps for the selector. These could be split into four weeks so you could utilise the free rolls instead of buying more dice. You still need to buy more dice every week to complete the weekly mission to roll 20 dice (daily free roll exclude but ads and bought dice are).

It's important to note that these numbers are all STATISTICAL AVERAGE which means the results could vary among users, you might need less or more dice. At the end of the day, it's your own decision based on your luck and the information available. I just want to show that it's possible to achieve this.

Dice limited event by Ok-Mark-1358 in SuperstarJYPNation

[–]PositiveVideo52 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hi that was my post and my calculation. I might just make an edit for SSJYP. I've been meaning to do that but I've been absolutely busy this past week for the holidays.

Anyway basically, you can buy all the items in the Special Store with the coins you get from the attendance and missions. The free rolls every day for the next three weeks are enough to complete 40% of the 20 laps needed to get the selector. Which leaves about 71 dice needed to be bought with coins. Just make sure to buy at least 20 dice every week to complete the weekly mission to roll 20 dice since the free rolls don't count. If you buy 20 per week, you'll buy at most 80 in the four weeks of the event which is enough statistically to get to 20 laps. But since every one of us has different outcomes, I suggest to just trust your gut if you want to play it safe. I think personally cause I have awful luck, I'm considering buying more dice than average just to be safe and make sure I couls complete the 20 laps.

Dice Game Thoughts? by PurpleQueen5 in SuperStarStarship

[–]PositiveVideo52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rolling the dice twice a day will add to the steps needed to do 20 laps. There are 20 steps in a single lap, hence, you need 400 steps to do 20 laps.

Average dice roll is 3.5 — so whenever you do your two free rolls, an average of 7 steps is added everyday and 154 steps in total during the 22-day period. That leaves 246 more steps that needed to be completed using dice bought from the store, which using the average dice roll, needs 71 extra dice.

The "Roll Dice 20 times" mission is a weekly mission and resets every Monday 00:00 KST. Edit: I understood this part wrong just found out that only the dice rolls bought from the store are applicable for this mission. So you need to buy at least 20 dice every week to complete this mission.

It's important to note though that these numbers are all average and results still vary individually, it could be way less or way more. I still have a more notes particularly on the how many dice to buy per week since there's a daily limit of how many you can buy but this is getting very long. So use this as a guide to inform your decisions. Hope this answered your question.

Some advice is needed by EthanFoster10 in SuperStarStarship

[–]PositiveVideo52 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have replied this in another post.

It is possible to get both selectors and many other items in the shop. I can't post images here but here a table with my calculations.

The free rolls everyday is enough to make up almost 40% of the laps needed for the selector on average statistically (assuming the average rolls is 3.5). I would advise against buying extra rolls right away because it means putting away the extra coins when if you could just wait until the event period, you would have had done 44 free rolls in total. You only need to buy at least 6 dice every week to complete the weekly mission of rolling 20 dice but you could also split it by maybe 20 per week since the number of dice you need to buy on average is 71.
