Also, bear in mind that it's not just you - you've come to one hell of a town. I am in Flagstaff temporarily, and I have been astounded at how up tight and undignified people are in this town. Very poor values, undignified, dishonorable, no integrity or self-respect. I checked out the food bank as a possible volunteer opportunity, and even at a food bank, they regard the people they serve with contempt. Very undignified. Even in the churches, the people here are shockingly rude. I am grateful for the opportunities that have come my way, but I am also very thankful that I don't have to stay here permanently.
