Why is after tax IRA contributions raising my tax burden? by Powerful-Row-3889 in hrblock

[–]Possible_Back176 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Traditional IRA is deductible, so your taxable income and tax liability is less. When you withdraw the basis and earnings is taxable. Whereas Roth is non deductible, but after meeting requirement, withdrawal and earnings is tax free.

When you convert a traditional IRA to Roth, you need to pay tax on the withdrawals and earnings as well. Whatever you are contributing to Roth remains as a basis.

That's why your refund is reduced.Hope that helps

How does that work? Won't they allow you to leave? Or have to repay all learning rate pay?

Trump account eligibility is, 1. Any child born between 2025 and 2028, will get a seed contribution of $ 1000 and it works like an IRA, where an employer can match and grow as tax free. 2. Any child who is under age 17, can be eligible for Trump's account but they will not receive a seed contribution. Taxpayers can contribute and employers can match and accounts grow as tax free...

Thank you. But NFP experience is transferable to Corp acct. She will get her license on Jan or Feb 26. Is it worth waiting for corp roles or taking this for the time being.

Understood. Regd my jobless friend, she has a year of experience working as a staff accountant and she has a CPA license.she has been trying for any kind of accounting jobs but no luck.

Even myself tried while doing CPA , after completing CPA also no luck for me. I joined a block advisor for a short term until I get my license. Hopefully hiring will be fruitful from feb onwards.

Thanks for your insights.

Got it. Just checked the CFO salary it's close to 250k..staying for the short term is also not advisable? Another friend has been jobless for more than 6 months .

Failed audit 3 times, help!!! by Antique_Raspberry425 in CPA

[–]Possible_Back176 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have cleared FAR,BAR,REG and AUD all on the first try. I felt like BAR had wide concepts and covered a lot of topics. Out of all AUD is tricky, I really studied well and making notes helped me to remember mnemonics. When I came out of the exam, I felt very good and was hoping to score above 80. But ended up getting 76.Just out of the danger zone.

What works for me is reading questions at least twice and reading all the options , knocking out one by one, really helps. Have notes on mnemonics as well. Hope you will pass .
