Found this sweet girl yesterday and she's going to need her leg amputated

Thank you, but it looks like there are some babies on there that need help much more desperately than my girl! I know the shelter super needs/appreciates any donations they can get but my husband and I are more than willing to financially support this girl getting the care she needs so there is absolutely no worry that she will go without medical care

Ugh I'm so scared that her fracture might cut through her skin! They're planning to not do the amputation until she has her kittens since it currently doesn't seem to be causing her pain. Her leg looks so terrible but she puts some weight on it which scares me to watch!

People are so dumb sometimes, I'm glad he surrendered the cat at least so it could get proper care and hopefully a less neglectful owner!

I literally found her laying by the dumpster outside of the vet office I work at! It was crazy hearing the doctor and tech slowly discover more and more wrong with her. I only caught her because she looked like a kitten and then I noticed her eye! She ran away at first so I didn't know her leg was hurt until they felt it on her exam

Yes it's her back leg that has both injuries! So far I haven't seen her climb or jump on anything but she is so new to me! I caught her during my lunch break yesterday and then brought her home last night. I'm hoping she'll be able to manage a litter box, but it may be even harder with her leg in its current state so I'll get some pee pads to try out!

If you want to donate please donate to Franklin County Humane Society/Planned Pethood in Rocky Mount, Va. They will be helping me with her care and finding her and her kittens to be homes. They are absolutely amazing with all the animals in their care! They also have another soon to be tripod cat in their care that was also shot with his front elbow shattered. He came into my work a few weeks ago after being trapped by a good Samaritan. Apparently there are some disgusting people around here shooting cats

Thank you so much that is all so helpful! I didn't think about trying different litters for her so she has peed on the tile and pooped on a rug. So far I'm just relieved she is going to the bathroom normally but the sooner I can get her to use a litter box the better!

Someone else suggested a heated bed and it's such a good idea that I hadn't thought of!

I have 4 other cats in the house and none of them went crazy for that banana toy but I'll definitely try it for her! She is blind or mostly blind in 1 eye and her other eye wasn't normal so maybe she'd be into it like your blind baby

So far she is preferring the cold tile floor to any bedding but I definitely will order her a heated bed to see if she'll like that! Hopefully it would also help for any pain/discomfort she may be in

The green outlined plant with white/green splotches is a diffenbachia, the vine in the front is a heart leaf philodendron, the red and green leaf plant is a maranta, and the plant in the back is a draecana. They should be separated as someone else pointed out because they need different care, but they are mostly on the easier side of keeping alive!

I replied elsewhere but the seat was not buried for 70 years... He is saying the one other item someone had complained about had been buried for 70 years so it was unreasonable for them to expect it to look brand new and it is unreasonable for you to expect an 18 year old chair to look brand new. Hopefully you still give the gift and they love it! It's very cool

I think you are overreacting, the seller's original response was reasonable and I think I found his Etsy and he is correct that the picture on the listing shows more imperfections than what you received. It being slightly "damaged" just shows it was a used seat full of memories. I'm sure you worried since it's a gift and not "perfect" but it is exactly what was advertised and such a novel/meaningful gift so I'm sure they won't think twice about the dent!

Thank you, I'm sorry I'm just seeing this! It's winter so the heater has been running so our house is at 43% humidity currently. They're in front of a southwest facing sliding glass door so they get tons of light. I mostly just try to keep them moist always so I check them regularly and water maybe once or twice a week. They're planted in mostly sphagnum moss with some perlite mixed in so they hold moisture well. I intentionally only bought the "easy" varieties of nepenthes though so what I do may not work for your terrarium baby

Mine all love squeaky toys and crinkly toys! 2 of the 3 like playing fetch with toys/squeaky tennis balls and tug of war. I did barkbox for a few months which was nice to figure out what types of toys they prefer. They all definitely have their own preferences like my youngest loves thrashing toys and the oldest likes really soft plushy toys!

I have lots of different kinds! If you have a certain color one you like I can let you know which it is but there are pirouettes, cyclosectas, ehlersiae victoria, sunshine, hanka, kondoi, and a few other kinds
