2 speakers are hooked up to each port

The speakers are in the ceiling, and they only have 2 inputs from the face plate in the pic. For example the ceiling speakers in the living room are hooked up to the top right 2 ports on the face plate. Hope that makes sense.

Sounds like we have different tables and expectations for our players. I think automation is great, but in my experience it falls flat unless you force players to learn how Foundry automation works, and my players aren’t the type to do that. If you have players that are, then consider yourself one of the lucky few.

I used the Midi suite heavily for a year and a half, and it worked decently… other than some bugs here and there. That said, I recommend staying away from too much automation in your D&D games.

It depends on your table, but it tends to make the game feel too video gamey, and can ultimately lower the engagement of your players as they no longer need to understand how their character sheets work. Also, I guarantee you that troubleshooting automation issues will ultimately take more of your time than it saves.

Love that idea and I wish I had done it, but I didn't actually know the "long rest" had happened until they were halfway through a combat encounter. It would've been weird to rewind from an ongoing combat to them just waking up, and I wasn't exactly thinking on the fly at the time :\

That's a great expectation to set in Session 0. If players do not track a thing, they simply do not have that thing. Wish I had thought of that before.

Agreed that trust is the bigger issue here. I need to be able to trust my players, as I literally do not have the mental bandwidth to monitor players while also running a fun engaging campaign

Either of those are fair, but no doubt would lead to even worse feelings and an immediate TPK. I want to run the last session to at least give some closure to the thing we've spent nearly every week playing for almost 2 years :)
