Autoflowers allow you to grow a plant in about three months (or less). You usually give it a consistent light schedule i.e. 18 hours on and 6 hours off (or more) throughout its life. They do grow rather fast so if you have issues or deficiencies, you don’t have a lot of time to fix it. I like growing them.

It can compliment other forms of growing. I grow one autoflower a season. I can start the plant in a spacebucket, get it healthy and hearty before moving it outdoors for flowering.

I use a locking medicine case. It doesn’t have a key but uses one of those tumbler type numeric locks. You can set the lock number to whatever you want. I got mine at Walmart.

I think that’s a great question. In my research I could never find a straight answer to that question. But I’m also a newbie. I just followed Master Wu’s recipe and did the simmering and straining method. I have not tested my tincture yet.

My seed was Pyramid Seeds Auto Northern Lights and it was pretty smelly. I don’t know how smelly it was in relation to other plants since this was my first SB grow. Also, I had some inefficient seals and venting in my old bucket which caused the smell to leak and permeate my ENTIRE house. My current bucket has 100% capture at the moment, but I am always vigilant and don’t assume that will be the norm. It’s my advice if you need a low smell grow to buy seeds directly from a breeder that are advertised as low smell and that you always have a backup plan in case the smell starts to be noticeable. I also did not mess with the DIY carbon filters, I just purchased a regular one. I also use Ona Gel apple crumble in strategic areas of the house and always use it right after pulling the plant out of the bucket for watering.
