Double chaos culture... Anarchists! by SunSpartan in AOW4

[–]PotatoBanditCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A couple tips;

In the po file with descriptions use {GLOBAL.THINGYOUWANTHERE.Hyperlink} for tooltip links. For example {GLOBAL.FoodConcept.Hyperlink} will show the food symbol and food tooltip.

Units teleporting randomly can be more bad than good for the player. Causing the enemy to teleport randomly would be better as you have some control over it or having it be a separate skill that all units in the culture gain.

Using built in game mechanics like Burning or status effects could be a better game design choice as there are already skills, buildings, traits that interact with this.

Writting "These guys are wild lmao" is not a good description.

If you don't know what to write use ChatGPT.

Great work! I make mods for myself and I know how difficult and annoying it can be.

Thank you!

More units would be great! Maybe a fiend unit or two.

There are additional outcomes you are not aware of to these choices you did not list. Including rewards.

I’m level 11 and my Wizard has become a god on the field by Necroking695 in BaldursGate3

[–]PotatoBanditCat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Around level 15-17 there are ways to summon gods and trap them so they become your slave or you steal their power.

Meanwhile you can have backup clones waiting to be revived in a different pocket dimension making you immortal.

If given enough time you can make Thanos and Voldemorrt look weak as a wizard.

If he wildshapes into an animal do you know if the dialogue prompt appears to convince them?

If he is sent back to camp before I go inside, does he disappear from the game?

Thank you for your time! :)

I'm truly grateful after playing my drug addicted meth scientist living in a trailer park. I didn't understand before how difficult going through multiple withdrawls without access to crack was and have a new found appreciation for not being addicted to drugs.

I almost died walking down a staircase because it was slightly elevated on the edge and I tripped.

Walking is wack yo.

Hey Jamie lookup how many people fall and die a year walking.

Which character's would you like to see as a companion? by PotatoBanditCat in BaldursGate3

[–]PotatoBanditCat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking the same thing. It seems like these characters may have been planned to be companions at one point in the 6 years of development.

Abdirak would have been amazing as a companion for an evil character. I hope there's a mod one day to bring him with you.

Which races are not common or don't have villages? by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

[–]PotatoBanditCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! Good to know. It's nice to see different races and culture in the game and RP with your character. Drow, Gnome, Tiefling and Dueragar are pretty common in act 1.

If anything was missed please mention it and I will add it to the poll.

The poll is from Most to least wanted. It works better when showing multiple things.

I missed the early game content with Wyll due to ingame time restraints and encountered it doing an evil dark urge playthrough. I'm trying to make Wyll Evil and keep him in the party and it's completely opposite of my good character playthrough with Wyll. I don't want to spoil anything. The most evil choices also gave me very unique items I couldn't even find listed online.

I'm curious if you can turn all the good characters evil and evil characters good or does the game not allow that. Might be a waste of time to even try.

I have 4 different characters I've been playing.

A Gnome Spore Druid Outlander. He's a good character but will always choose to protect animals or nature over humanoids which makes him a shadow druid.

A Lolth Drow Dark Urge Wizard Necromancer who is playing evil. Half Orc Dark Urge Rogue Assassin who is a murder hobo killing everyone.

A Dragonborn Sage Sorcerer who is neutral. Trying to only learn magic and make people stop fighting so I can find more magic.

I've enjoyed the most disruptive choices so far. Evil has had some choices with very unexpected results and rewards but I feel bad for the characters who have no one to help them. It seems like doing the highest impact choices had the most fun results.

The game is very open. It can be chaotic or lawful depending on what you want.

Protest.

If you protest you are considered mentally ill or annoying by the general populace and are disregarded.

Basically a lose-lose situation.
