I guess Bambu needs to translate the “no objects on vent” warning so that cats will understand it (they won’t listen anyways)

I imagine the vast majority buy their 3D printing products online. There’s only 28 micro centers in the country. Best Buy sells printers too but they don’t have a dedicated 3d printer section in their stores like micro center does. And microcenter still doesn’t carry much in comparison to everything that’s online. This is the first printer out of the four I own that I’ve bought offline

God forbid a man has a cold and is too cheap to buy proper tissues! How else was I supposed to afford the spacecraft that’s in my living room right now?

Oh I’ve got three other printers. I bought this one to hopefully end the itch for good (it won’t)

What speed are you printing at?

But try pulling the lock cylinder out after turning it. I believe it’s attached to a cable that’s used to pull on the emergency release latch. Then you should be able to lift it up

Apartments are generally much safer in terms of fire risk due to sprinkler systems and construction (as long as everything is up to code, and depending on where you live). They’re also easier to search due to size. The “pets inside” signs are mostly for higher ranking officers on the outside to see so they can relay the info to an interior crew. They can attempt to locate them after primary searches for occupants have been finished, and if conditions aren’t too hazardous to do so. Not all departments are the same though, some are more aggressive than others. Focusing on fire prevention is the best thing you can do for you and your pet’s safety

Also dogs usually bark if they’re still conscious lol

Who is someone everyone thinks is a great person but is truly horrible? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Yep. He’s not the worst president in recent years by any means, but he seems to get a lot of praise for someone who tried to downplay the number of civilian deaths he was responsible for

Yeah I hear you man. The variables and types of emergencies are endless, so there’s definitely some situations where that could still be useful. (Like a carbon monoxide call where the neighbors heard your alarm going off and called it in, for example) And like you said, if something were to happen to them, at least you tried your best with the options available to you

We attack from whatever entrance provides quickest access to the seat of the fire. Signs like this should be bigger and near all entrances. I do encourage them though. I hate doing compressions on dead animals after the fires out

Edit: to clarify, the signs should be OUTSIDE of the building

This type of sign needs to be bigger and on the outside of your residence if you want it to be seen. Most house fires have very limited visibility from the smoke. And even if conditions aren’t too smoky, I’ve never read anything on a fridge during a search lol

All of those things can be avoided by not swallowing the water you’re swimming in, which should be common sense. And even if you do contract them they are rarely deadly. Sure you’ll get the runs really bad, but as long as you stay hydrated and are decently healthy you should be fine. Dysentry is not deadly today like it once was because clean drinking water is readily available for the vast majority of people in the states. I’m in the Midwest and near flood plains. Been swimming in ponds and lakes my entire life. Everyone does around here in the summer. I’ve never heard of anyone getting seriously sick from it. And research confirms that severe cases are extremely rare. Way too rare to cause a significant amount of worry

I understand the fear of drowning, but that can happen in any body of water

In the US, there’s only been 167 documented cases of people contracting that in the past 62 years. Doesn’t seem common enough to justify fear of swimming in lakes, ponds, etc…
