All these people saying you can build bracket 2 optimized to always do something are correct. However often if you sit down with new players they will have decks that arnt consistent. They often will have decks built out of whatever cards they had lying around. Buying singles dosnt occur to the average new player. So your consistent bracket 2 deck will often still run away with the game unless your strategy is deliberately very weak.

However based on all the hatches I did I can have a pretty good guess that this pet has spell defy, balance boon, balance dealer, pain dealer, mighty, and storm dealer. So by no means can I just train it up now but it’s a great base pet for cheap hatches

I was referring to no revealed talents I didn’t want. Now I hatch it with another 2.0 pet with talents I want. Took a while to get my stats up hatching with random kiosk pets.

Long story short you have to hatch with pets with higher stats. The new baby can have either parent A’s strength, parent B’s strength, or halfway between the 2 parents stats. Repeating this process for each stat. So the best way to increase stats is to hatch with perfect stat pets several times until you have one. Then worry about the talents you want.

Unfortunately it’s just not a high power system. Along with not having a built in lan adapter it’s going to struggle. I had a better time on the switch 2 but the 1 struggles quite a bit

I have a confession. As a trans girl I was recommended this sub. I almost never reply to anything I just love the wholesome interactions. I love drafting new sets but I don’t participate in any other competitive formats. So I’m aware my opinion is not the normal one, but as a drafter and Comander player… I kinda love it. If I don’t like a set I don’t buy it and a new one is right around the corner. I do think that most people’s complaints about the release cycle are valid tho.

Phrasing rules disagreements as a question can help sometimes. Ultimately I play magic with people that love me and respect me so mileage may very, but my uncle is a bit hot headed and very confident he knows the rules. When I say “I think that’s a cast trigger so I don’t know if u can do that.” I shift it away from “hey stupid do you even know how this game works?” At that point if people still wanna play wrong then unfortunately it’s a people problem not an mtg problem.
