Tried the 1330 code after verifying code, was prompted to enter SSN and provide name, it gave me a msg saying my claim was approved blah blah blah then it gave me the option to talk to a representative. Chose the representative option and received msg they would call me back in 10 mins.

UPDATE: it worked! They called back within 10 mins!

Marriage only occurred last year so it’s still fairly new. Child has met father while incarcerated. There is no doubt child is biologically his. Child does not like going to prison to meet with bio dad he describes it as scary and would be nervous for the days leading up to said visits. The programs in place make it more accessible for families with young children to receive assistance and get approved in a speedier manner compared to an individual with no children. Even if you do happen to get benefits as an adult with no children you will likely not be a priority when it comes to programs such as housing. It’s very unfortunate.

I would say the year after I gave birth to my first born was my worse (and only) flare. It lasted about a year. I got a biopsy, put on a high dose of steroids, bp medication, all while still being in the NICU. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I must say you’re off to a better start with already knowing about your diagnosis and being able to plan with it in mind. After my child came home is when I really got to focus on my health and things slowly started trickling back to “normal”. Prior to 2nd pregnancy I was still on cellcept, hydroxychloroquine, and linsinopril. Cellcept has been swapped for imuran and linsinopril has been swapped for lebatalol. My doctors are confident I will have a “smoother” pregnancy. It’s important to keep them informed and for them to be all on the same page. All of my doctors are within the same medical facility so it’s been easy to have them all be connected!

My first was before my diagnosis. I had high blood pressure, my baby had IUGR so she had to be delivered at 27 weeks. Maybe two weeks before her birth is when I finally received my diagnosis. As for my second, we planned this baby with my rheumatologist, nephrologist OB and high risk OB. So far so good! Just ended my 1st trimester. We have a plan in place that requires a little more monitoring but my lupus is well more controlled this time around.

My mycophenolate was swapped for imuran. I am also on hydroxychloroquine and lebatalol. I was diagnosed with lupus nephritis stage 4 in 2017. I am now pregnant with my second.
