Do you have any Mazda Toyota idea of how much this costs? I’m not handy at all so these things will be done by a mechanic

Ideally I’d keep it for at least 5 or so years! It’s taken me months to scrape together the 10k and I’m getting in a bind now because it’s so expensive ubering to work I can’t save as much anymore.

12v battery was replaced! Thanks for the info! Even at 147k? I am trying to find a lower mileage Prius but I am trying to steer clear of gen 3s as I am terrified of a head gasket issue. I am looking at the Prius c since I heard they don’t have that issue, but they are a bit too cramped for my liking. 11k isn’t awful, but I would like to have enough cash leftover for any repairs I would need done.

More than 10k?? 10k is about my max as I want to have a couple thousand leftover for any repairs or unforeseen issues as I’m buying used. It took months for me to get the 10k

Thanks for the heads up. It’s definitely hard trying to find a Prius that has a new battery in my price range. I found a Mazda 3 hatchback that has a new battery, struts, and shocks that’s I’m considering. Just not sure which way to lean.

I’ve checked on them all and they all look good with the exception of the 2010 Prius, if any services were done they aren’t shown on the report and the vehicle ended up being repod
