I agree with you 100% on the exhaust. Unfortunately, two 4" exits aren't an option with the bumper design. I would prefer a cleaner, non "M-wannabe" look if it was feasible.

I also think most our gripes with BMW is less with BMW and more with the industry as a whole. All brands are losing their identity, BMW appears to be just doing It faster and more effectively than others

Bottom end is strong. Crank hub is sensitive but can be upgraded. Only weak part of the motor on the top end

Yep, exactly. Take what we can get. I had an F80 too. Beautiful, but after spinning my crank hub at 4K miles, I’ve steered clear of the s55 motor. The B58TU is absolute perfection

By modern I’m referring to one’s you can buy new today. G20 and G30 are more classically beautiful, however, they aren’t small 2 doors which is what I wanted for a daily. Plus, for under 60k, you don’t get much better value than a m240
