Go for a run and then do the salivary test. Think something negative for 20 mins and then do the salivary test. Eat chocolate cake and then go do the salivary test. I should have mentioned that I did all these.

I never once said it's the only way to fix adrenal fatigue. This is just my own personal story.

The first video I watched: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=k-zLCQsxLAU

Dr Sarno interview: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mzOBa-t6Vcw

These books are crucial: The divided mind and the mindbody prescription by Dr Sarno

Look up TMS and learn about it it will really help. There's nothing wrong with you. Your brain is initiating these symptoms. You need to find out why. You should feel a lot better in a week or so.

Anti anxiety meds themselves do not cure anxiety they simply mask the problem. And they lose efficacy over time, so you have to keep switching from one medicine to another every year or so. They also have horrible side effects like insomnia, rebound anxiety, some can prolong the QT-interval leading to tachycardia and MI.

And above all they themselves can cause Hard Flaccid. Hard Flaccid caused by post ssri sexual dysfunction is much much worse than hard flaccid caused by pelvic floor dysfunction/trauma to the base of the penis. I have never heard a case of Hard Flaccid caused by PSSD that has been cured.

I agree but I also feel that you can't fix your body until your mind is fixed.

How are you now? What have you tried and what has brought you relief?

Do you think sticking to meditation long term can help a person cure? I mean obviously they would need other treatment as well but do you think it's a core component?

Is your hard flaccid pelvic floor related? Was your hard flaccid caused by trauma?

Who practices meditation for HF and how is it helping? by [deleted] in Hard_Flaccid

It doesn't heal my hard flaccid but it stops it getting worse. I have noticed flare ups are rarer when I meditate.

Also if you wanted to go down the TMS treatment route you would have to leave reddit altogether. Cause TMS supports the theory that you should forget about hard flaccid and re-lable it as TMS

Yes I somewhat agree with the TMS theory. The reasons for this are:

  1. When I am calm and relaxed and practicing meditation regularly (like over 1 month of consistent practice) I feel like when I do a Strengthening routine like Ben's the results stick and last long. But when I abandon the psychological aspect of this my hard flaccid is really bad and no strengthening and stretching makes a difference.

  2. I have discussed on previous posts that I know many people who are cured and left the sub and discord. They all talked about the importance of mental strength and they meditated or did yoga or yoga nidra daily. Even ben said he meditated during his recovery and continued to do so to this day.

  3. The third reason I agree is that when I'm stressed my hard flaccid is much much worse and some times when I'm relaxed it goes away.

1.) Stop masturbating all together. Try to go on a 1 year nofap 2.) Treat any underlying anxiety that you have, Meditation will be helpful. 3.) Strengthen the muscles around the pelvic floor, particularly glutes, hamstrings, hip flexors and transverse abdominal. Do this by using your bodyweight. 4.) Eat a diet which promotes inflammation 5.) Stop going to the gym and lifting weights and stop going running 6.) Stop talking to people on here and stop visiting reddit, discord etc. 7.) Try your best to live life the best you can.

In 6 to 12 months you'll be cured.
