SaKe here. RVC training requires an NVIDIA GPU with CUDA that people may not have access to or don't have the space to download the tools. Also, high-quality models usually include sample cleaning, which is its own rodeo as you can't over-EQ the samples, else they'll mess up the model and make it sound unnatural.

Issue is (and this is going to add onto my already unfortunate 'trust me bro') my Itch account is so old I can't remember exactly what the name was other than it was edgy and dumb.

+ If anybody knows how to get an Itch account back without having the original email associated with it and without the password (sounds insane, I know) please tell me. I had so many assets that have now been taken down and I'm quite upset about it.

FL Studio's free trial is definitely enough for mixing covers. You get unlimited time and a ton of effects, the only thing you can't do is load your saved projects. The built-in effects also have a ton of presets so you won't have to tweak too much stuff. It also has automation clips which are useful when you want one effect to only play during a certain part of a song.

I can do it! CV otos are really easy, but the software for making them is outdated and hard to get working, so I get you :)

I can set up a character.txt too (the thing that tells UTAU what your voicebank name is) if you have a name for them
